How to choose a font for a magazine
Editorial design usually sets a headline font with a clear personality over a text font made for columns. The two should look related without being alike: a contrast of weight or width, or a serif against a sans, is the classic way.
Set a real headline and a few paragraphs in the preview above the list, then try the same text in two or three fonts. Look for an italic and a bold in the same family: captions, quotes and subheads rely on them.
