Terms and licenses
Each font has its own license
Every font on Fontik is distributed under the open license shown on its page (for example the SIL Open Font License, Apache 2.0, the Ubuntu Font License, MIT or CC0), and the license text is included in the archives you download. That license, not these terms, says what you may do with the font: use it in personal and commercial projects, embed it on a website, modify it, and what you must keep (copyright notices, the license text, and sometimes a different name for modified versions). Please read it.
No warranty
Fonts, previews and archives are provided as they are, without any warranty. Check a font in your own project before you rely on it.
Using the site
You may use Fontik freely to find, try and download fonts. Please do not overload it with automated requests.
Converting fonts
Convert only fonts you have the right to use that way. Converting a font does not change its license, and a license for desktop use often does not cover websites. You are responsible for the files you upload. Results are provided as they are and are deleted after 24 hours, so keep your original files.
Removal requests
If you are the author or rights holder of a font and believe it should not be here, or the license shown is wrong, write to [email protected] with the link to the page. We will look at it promptly and remove the font if the claim is justified.
Brand names
The names of programs, services and devices mentioned on the site, such as Canva, Cricut, CapCut or Procreate, belong to their owners. Fontik is not affiliated with them; the names are used only to say what a font or a guide is for.
