Script and cursive fonts

A script font imitates joined handwriting: each letter flows into the next. That gives warmth and personality to a short line, such as an invitation, a signature or a heading, but a long text becomes hard to read.

Never set a script in all capitals: the capital letters of most scripts were not drawn to stand side by side. Type your words in the preview above the list and look at how the letters join, especially in the middle of long words.
