How to upload your own font to Canva (Brand Kit)
Canva does not read the fonts installed on your computer. To use your own font you upload it to a Brand Kit, and after that it shows up in the font list of the editor. Uploading fonts is a feature of the paid plans.

Steps
- Check your plan: uploading fonts is available in Canva Pro, Teams, Business, Education and Nonprofits, not in the free plan.In a team, only the owners, administrators and brand designers can upload fonts.
- Unzip the downloaded archive and find the font files: Canva accepts .ttf, .otf and .woff files of up to 15 MB.ZIP, EOT, SVG and WOFF2 files are not accepted: use the TTF or OTF files, not the WOFF2 files of a web kit.
- On the Canva home page open Brand in the side panel and choose your Brand Kit if you have several.
- Scroll to Fonts, choose Add to category, then Upload a font.
- Select the font file on your computer and click Open. Wait until the upload finishes.
- Upload bold and italic styles as separate files: a family can have up to 18 styles.
- Open a design, select a text box and find the font in the font list, among your brand fonts.
Tips
- Canva does not support variable fonts: if the font page says the font is variable, look for static files (one file per weight) in the archive.
- The font must be licensed for embedding: read the license on the font page; open licenses such as the SIL OFL generally allow it.
- One Brand Kit holds up to 500 fonts.
